From the Pew to the Runway: Introducing My Kingdom Work Collection at Denver Fashion Week

If you had told me a year ago that I’d be showcasing a faith-fueled fashion collection on the opening night of Denver Fashion Week, I might’ve giggled, done a twirl, and then paused to pray about it. 😄

But here we are! I’m so excited to share that I’ll be one of the featured designers for Sustainable Night on May 10th, debuting a collection that’s been stirring in my heart for a while now. It’s called Kingdom Work, and it’s a creative expression of scripture—from Genesis to Revelation—brought to life through upcycled fashion, thrifted materials, and a whole lot of time with the Lord.

What is Kingdom Work?

Kingdom Work isn’t just about clothes—it’s about purpose.

Each piece tells a story drawn from the Bible. I’ve been sourcing materials from all over—thrift stores, my parents' attic, Charlie’s Tool Shop (bless that treasure trove!), and places where forgotten things were waiting to be reimagined. Kind of like how God reimagines us. 💛

This has been on my heart for too long and to finally bring it to life in my year of Jubilee (I turn 50!!), I wanted to create something that doesn’t just walk the runway—it walks in truth.

Who’s Walking This Out With Me?

The most beautiful part? The people modeling these looks aren’t strangers—they’re my church fam. A crew of Lord-lovin’, God-fearin’ friends who radiate light, love, and purpose. We pray together, worship together, and now—we’re walking this runway together. It’s pretty special to share this moment with them!
